LIL PUBLIC Buckle Cheongsam Iketani “Sayaka Series”

The Iketani Monster we created was inspired by a young woman from Life Ceremony by Sayaka Murata. As the meaning of “normal” begins to shift, Iketani must face the loss of someone deeply important to her. In this story, farewell is redefined, what first feels shocking slowly reveals itself as a form of love.

Her journey reflects grief, doubt, and the quiet courage to accept a new reality, showing how love can exist even in the most unfamiliar forms.
